Every day the lives of adults living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy are supported by DMD Pathfinders to have access to other adults with the same condition. Through us, they are able to contact adults with DMD for advice and guidance about the issues they face. They can do this in the knowledge that, people who truly understand what it is like to live with this condition are there for them.
We are DMD Pathfinders, a charity run by people with the condition. As we grow and more and more members join we can achieve more. To continue what we do, we are looking for regular donations to help us help you.
For so many we’re not just a charity but a lifeline, a community and a friendly ear. We strive to improve the DMD and disabled community throughout the UK and beyond.
All we ask is £5 a month or £1.25 a week, less than a cup of coffee, so we can continue to support you all throughout the year. This will help us to create guides, give advice and hold a conference.
There are so many other things we can achieve together if we have the funds to do so. Our target is 100 people with DMD donating £5 per month which will give us £500 per month towards keeping our charity going.
Please give what you can.
A gift for future generations of adults with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
If you or someone you know has been supported by the charity DMD Pathfinders then you might want to consider a legacy of love and support into the future so that adults living with DMD can continue to have this same support.
You can do this in a number of ways:
- You may want to formally record your wishes that donations in lieu of flowers at your funeral could be made to DMD Pathfinders
- You may be in a position to leave a legacy of love by providing a one off or ongoing gift of financial support for the work of DMD Pathfinders. We can point you in the right direction of support to do this.
